How we know canvas.butler.edu is theirs
It runs on butler.edu, which is Butler University’s own domain. Nobody else can put a portal there, so ownership settles it. Read from the portal on 22 October 2026.
A second sign-in system also answered for Butler University. That is normal where a school has moved platforms and left the old one running; the confirmed one above is the one DuePilot offers.
Signing in
Butler University puts Canvas behind its own sign-in, so the page you land on is headed Auth0 rather than Canvas. That is the right page. Your Butler University username and password go into it, on Butler University’s own site, and DuePilot never sees them.
Opening that address sends you to butleru.auth0.com. That is the page to expect, and the one to type a password into. If you land somewhere else, stop.
On the Connect screen, search Butler University. canvas.butler.edu is already known, so there is no address to look up and nothing to paste.
