Does DuePilot work at your school?

Search for it below. There are three ways in and they are not alternatives to each other, so the honest answer is per school rather than one number for the whole country.

What the three answers mean

Works now

502 schoolsTheir Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace, Moodle or Blackbaud address is confirmed against the school’s own published identity. You sign in on your school’s own page and your week fills in. Nobody at the school has to approve anything.

Address found

192 schoolsA portal answered for this school and did not say whose it is, so we have not proved it is theirs. DuePilot will still offer it, and the sign-in happens on that school’s page where you can see the address yourself before you type anything.

Classroom or calendar

349 schoolsNo portal of that kind found, so the way in is Google Classroom or a calendar link. Both work. The one thing to know about Classroom is below.

If your school uses Google Classroom

Google Workspace for Education blocks apps a school has not approved for accounts belonging to under-18s. That is Google’s setting, not ours, and it has nothing to do with whether DuePilot works: the app is finished and waiting on one click.

One approval covers the whole school. Not one student, not one class. An administrator approves DuePilot once for the domain and every account there can sign in from then on, and since November 2024 a teacher can request it on students’ behalf. So the first person at your school to ask is the one who unblocks it for everybody.

The page to send your school

It says what DuePilot reads, what it never reads, where the data goes and how to approve it. Send it to a teacher or to whoever runs your Chromebooks.

And if the answer is no

A calendar link needs nothing from your school. Every one of these platforms publishes one, you paste it into DuePilot once, and your due dates arrive the same way they would through a sign-in. It is the route that cannot be blocked by anybody, and it is why a district saying no is not the end of it.

Why your school might not be on the list

There are 3,298 schools in the registry and 1043 of them have been checked and written down so far. The list is what has been confirmed in advance, not the limit of what works: when you press Connect, DuePilot goes and looks for your school live. A school missing from here is a school nobody has checked yet, not a school that fails.

DuePilot is an independent study app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any school listed. Platform names are used only to say which system this school runs.
